BookYourStylist is operated by Denton BBQ LLC in Denton, Texas. Participating stylists and salons use BookYourStylist to provide client booking, appointment management, account services, and optional appointment-related SMS communications.

This policy applies to the BookYourStylist platform and its stylist booking subdomains. The canonical public Privacy Policy URL for the platform is https://bookyourstylist.com/privacy.

Depending on how BookYourStylist is used, we may process:

• Account and authentication information, such as name, email address, login identifiers, and access status.
• Client contact information, including mobile phone number, email address, and customer profile information.
• Appointment information, including selected stylist or salon, service, date, time, booking status, payment or deposit status, and appointment notes.
• SMS communication preferences, opt-in selections, opt-out requests, and related messaging records.
• Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, authentication/session data, logs, and security events.

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve BookYourStylist.
• Connect clients with their selected stylist or salon and maintain customer accounts.
• Process appointment bookings, schedule changes, cancellations, deposits, refunds, and related customer-service activity.
• Send transactional email and SMS appointment communications when authorized.
• Detect misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and technical problems.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of users, Denton BBQ LLC, and others.

SMS participation is optional. When you provide your mobile phone number and voluntarily select the SMS consent checkbox, your mobile information and messaging consent are used only to provide the communications you requested, including appointment confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, cancellations, deposit or payment status messages, and other appointment-related customer-service communications from BookYourStylist and your selected stylist or salon. The SMS checkbox is not preselected.

We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS consent is specific to the communications for which you opted in and is not transferred, sold, or assigned to another business for that business's marketing or promotional use.

We may provide mobile information to service providers that process or support SMS messages on our behalf only as necessary to deliver the messaging service. These providers may not use your mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Message frequency varies based on appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or booking.

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help operate BookYourStylist, such as hosting, authentication, database, payment processing, email, SMS, security, monitoring, and support providers. They receive information only as needed to provide services to us or our users.

Any sharing described in this section does not include sharing mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

Participating stylists and salons may receive client and appointment information necessary to provide their services, manage appointments, communicate with clients, and maintain their business records. Their independent business practices may also be governed by their own policies.

A client's SMS opt-in information and messaging consent may be used only for the appointment-related communications the client authorized and may not be used or shared for unrelated third-party marketing or promotional purposes.

Payment and deposit processing may be provided by third-party payment processors. BookYourStylist does not need to store full payment card numbers to operate appointment deposit workflows. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy and security practices.

BookYourStylist and its authentication providers may use cookies, session storage, or similar technologies necessary to sign users in, keep sessions secure, remember settings, prevent fraud, and operate the site.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, satisfy contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Clients may update certain profile information through their account. SMS consent may be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP to a text message. Privacy, access, correction, deletion, or account questions may be sent to Denton BBQ LLC.

BookYourStylist is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should manage any account or appointment information involving a minor when required by law or professional practice.

We may update this Privacy Policy as BookYourStylist changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
